Reports from the weekend were good for the iTap riders. Down in South Africa Joshua Francis finished 5th in The Carnival City Event. After being up the road all day and nearly pulling off the win he was caught with a few km’s to go but still managed to squeeze a few watts out of the empty legs to drag himself to 5th.
At the Phoenix GP in the North of Ireland Jordan McGinley opened his account with a 4th place. After spending most of last year with pneumonia and various other illnesses he is finally starting to get some strength into the legs. He has been part of our iTap program since September and has really only been training 100% since early December. Before this he spent most of his time preparing himself for full training post illness.
In the Loughrea GP we hag the rest of the iTap Team with Daire Feeley, David Brody & Darragh Bailey. All the riders put in a good showing in what was a crap day for all, weather wise. Daire Feeley finished up 2nd on the day with David Brody jumping into the top 5 with a 5th place. Darragh Bailey was unfortunate to suffer a mechanical coming in the road and finished up safely in what was left of the bunch.

Darragh Bailey nursing a mechanical in the main bunch eventually finishing the day in what was left of the main bunch
Thanks to Jimmy McElroy & Darren Crawford for the photos. Well done to all athletes racing this weekend and don’t forget to support out sponsors and partners without whom this project wouldn’t survive.
